Job Description Summary:
The Safety Aide position works under the direction of a Registered Nurse. This position is to ensure consistent and appropriate oversight of a patient who is at risk of intentionally hurting themselves or others. The Safety Aide provides hygiene, comfort, and safety needs to an assigned patient of any age.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School or GED (Required)BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart AssociationAmerican Heart AssociationAmerican Heart Association
BLS to be completed in orientation Customer Service Skills Effective communication skills Critical thinking skills High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Emotionally mature, uses sound judgment; Ability to make decisions calmly and quickly. Agility to intervene with aggressive patients. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
