Job Opportunity: VRV/VRF Service Technician with ElitAire – Columbus

As a VRV Service Technician at ElitAire, you will provide technical support to customers on state-of-the-art Daikin VRV equipment to include start-up and maintenance services, system troubleshooting, equipment repair and recommended enhancements, and lifecycle support.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Provide initial Check- Test- Start for VRV and DOAS equipment we represent.
• Responsible for servicing products and equipment (not restricted to products we represent) on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Uses a variety of hand-tools, factory selection program, blueprints, and engineering specifications to validate proper installation, diagnose and correct systems.
• Utilize Daikin Service Checker tool and remote monitoring technology to identify, analyze, diagnose, and make system recommendations at customer locations.
• Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
• Represents Company by serving as a Daikin OEM direct customer contact.
• Provides training for troubleshooting & maintenance at customer site.
• Provides technical support to customers.
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as necessary.
• Drives a company vehicle to job sites. Regular travel requirements with some (infrequent) overnight travel.
• Secures additional work through proactive recommendations based on equipment status and clients' needs.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to problem solve and make decisions without close supervision. They must be self-motivated, accurate, efficient, and capable of responding to customer needs. Additional requirements:

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a Technical/Trade School with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning.
• Hands-on VRV/VRF experience and high interest and motivation to learn - we will train you on all aspects of VRV.
• Be comfortable working on a computer daily and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily; required.
• The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability; required.
• Demonstrate punctuality and attendance on a consistent basis; required.
• Maintain an acceptable driving record and adhere to all pertinent ElitAire policies; required.
