Automated Gate System (AGS) Clerk
Columbus, OH
Pay-$18.50 hourly

AGS Clerk Summary:
The Automated Gate System (AGS) Clerk is responsible for inspecting trailers, chassis and containers that enter and leave the Norfolk Southern Rail Yard in Columbus, OH. The AGS also utilizes the computer system to ensure proper billing exists on each unit and provides customer service support to over-the-road truck drivers entering and leaving the Yard. AGS Clerk researches and responds to emails from customers and members of Norfolk Southern management team. Assist outside drivers at the customer service window. Work closely with the Stack Managers to problem shoot any issues or concerns with the stacking operation.

AGS Clerk- Key Performance Objectives:
• Data Entry
• Equipment Inspections
• Billing experience a plus
• Ability to work well independently and under time restraints for information vital to the operations team
• Customer service skills
• Parsec is a 24/7 operation on BNSF property, this includes holidays

AGS Clerk- Qualifications:
• Valid Driver's license
• 18 years of age or older
• Open schedule availability (Nights, weekends, holidays)
• Must be willing to complete a drug screen and background check
• Documented successful completion of lawful post-offer, pre-employment checks including criminal background check and drug screening
• Other duties as assigned
