  • Ability to build strong partnerships with the internal HR network and local stakeholders. Lead all country HR related areas like Talent Management, Organizational Design (OD) in the country, change management, risk analysis and mitigation, staffing needs and succession.
  • Build employee engagement by leveraging global frameworks & resources. Foster positive Employee Relations.
  • Contribute to local industrial relations (work council preparation and facilitation, company agreements negotiations with unions, including annual salary mandatory negotiations).
  • Lead and participate in site-related projects driven by pillars like Health Safety Environment and Workplace.
  • Bring HR Data insights; analyzing and presenting data to recommend solutions that support our inclusive culture and HR strategy.
  • Manage the relations and connections with service providers such as occupational doctor or nurse, health insurance, financial services (saving plans), insurance companies, and labor authorities.
  • Develop local training and support with HR administration including labor contracts, employer certificates, and mandatory declarations.
  • Manage and process payroll administration with current payroll provider ADP, followed by a new agile Payroll & Admin Outsourced model for small countries within Europe in the future.
  • Process monthly payroll cycles for all white-collar employees and manage all types of absences in alignment with associated insurances.
  • Manage payroll-related benefit programs and be the point of contact for insurance companies related to premiums contributions.
  • Manage employee payroll termination process including providing social documents.
  • Manage and maintain employee data and ensure employee records are updated.
  • Address employee inquiries concerning their payslips/deductions; provide explanations clarifying complex matters effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with local payroll laws/regulations including tax withholding requirements and be accountable for providing Accounting all relevant information for monthly/quarterly/yearly closing.
  • Contact person for internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation related to the organization's payroll processes and implement corrective actions if required.
  • Stay updated on current legislation affecting wages/taxes evaluating how changes might impact operations recommending adjustments where necessary.

Business requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor and/or Master degree.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience as HR generalist with strong knowledge of payroll (systems), tax regulations, and employee benefits.
  • Specific payroll experience for countries France and Italy combined with knowledge of local employment laws/regulation is crucial.
  • Proven, inspirational Leader with the ability to lead vertically and horizontally.
  • Fluent in French and English. Additional knowledge of the Italian language is beneficial.
