The Analytics team supports the End-to-End Supply Chain by developing advanced analytics, primarily focused on enhancing logistics efficiency and performance. We lead and develop talent to cultivate insightful data visualizations and analytics solutions. By collaborating closely with cross-functional partners, we ensure alignment, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Our mission is to identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiencies and elevated service through innovative analytics.
Responsibilities
Capture requirements for data pipelines, database design, reports, and applications required to support Supply Chain teams
Architect and/or develop databases, data-integration, scheduled tasks, canned-outputs, necessary to support Functional & Analytics teams within Logistics
Engage with IT to acquire new data, understand source data/applications, and provision requests
Engage with functional and Analytics teams to develop new/enhanced capabilities and address issues
Automate and monitor data extract-transform-load (ETL) processes and related activities
Develop and maintain a data-infrastructure comprising internal, external, and transformed data. This consists of gathering, storing, transforming, and cataloging data and processes
Collaborate with Logistics Operations and Analytics teams to ideate and receive instruction on business requirements, to inform the above job duties
Identify and implement process efficiencies with appropriate technology solutions
Work within a business/technology Product Team construct, using agile and waterfall project methodologies
Maintain strong partnerships though engagement with Logistics Operations and Analytics teams
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability with database design (SQL Server or equivalent) and knowledge of Data Lake solutions (ex: SnowFlake, Databricks)
Fluent in SQL and Python coding languages, and their practical application in process automation and data manipulation
Demonstrated ability to architect complicated and large-scale data extraction-transformation-loading (ETL) processes
Functional familiarity with supply chain logistics applications a plus: ERP, WMS, TMS, YMS, etc.
Education
Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Data Analytics, Computer Science (CS), or Management Information Systems (MIS) disciplines, or equivalent work experience
Preferred: additional supply chain education, training and/or certification through professional organizations such as CSCMP, APICS, edX, or Coursera
