Job Title: Material Handler - Forklift OperatorLocation: Gahanna, OHSchedule: Full-Time | Monday - Friday | 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Wage: Starting at $20/hr (negotiable based on experience and skills) Position Overview:We are seeking a qualified and experienced Material Handler to join a fast-paced, precision-driven metal manufacturing Job Shop. This full-time role focuses on the safe and efficient handling, movement, and tracking of materials throughout the production facility.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, computer-literate, and committed to safety and organization-someone with a stable work history and experience in a similar industrial setting. Key Responsibilities:Operate various forklifts and material handling equipment, including:Sit-down / stand-up forkliftsReach liftsCherry pickersPallet jacksLoad, unload, stage, and relocate materials and productsTrack and record material movement using computer systems (no scan guns)Prepare materials for internal transfers and outbound shipmentsSupport a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environmentReceive materials accurately and efficiently using computer inputCollaborate closely with the production and shipping teams Qualifications:5-10 years of relevant experience with a solid, stable work historyPrevious experience in metal manufacturing or job shop environments preferredProficient in operating forklifts and material handling equipmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsComfortable with physical tasks and material movementBasic computer skills requiredDemonstrated commitment to safety and teamworkPay Details: $20.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
