The Talent Business Partner (TBP) is responsible for proactively leading all aspects of strategic and tactical HR support for their designated region within the company. The position is a consultant and works closely with their Regional Director and management team on human resource-related issues. Although serving as the single point of contact for all matters people-related, the TBP focuses on Talent Management, HR metrics, Training & Development opportunities, Compensation & Benefits, and legal compliance. The TBP understands the business beyond HR and influences its overall region to ensure superior operations and business outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering HR generalist services to managers and employees, emphasizing employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, recruiting, and HR program implementation.
  • Ensuring knowledge, application, and compliance with labor laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Providing guidance on managing complex organizational and people issues.
  • Handling employee relations, investigations, counseling, documentation, and termination processes.
  • Partnering with the Director of Sales & Distribution and Training & Development to identify regional training opportunities.
  • Managing full life cycle recruiting in collaboration with Talent Acquisition.
  • Guiding managers through performance management processes to meet business goals.
  • Participating in monthly regional business reviews to present HR metrics and identify opportunities.
  • Coordinating leaves of absence with proper documentation and notifications.
  • Developing staffing strategies to meet organizational metrics.
  • Providing training on interviewing, harassment prevention, and management basics.

Physical requirements:

Regularly using hands, reaching, talking, hearing; walking, sitting; occasionally standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling; vision abilities; moderate noise level.

Required knowledge and expertise:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 7 years of HR experience in a multi-site organization, with 5+ years in strategic partnership.
  • Proven business partnership and collaboration skills.
  • Experience maintaining confidentiality and translating business priorities into HR strategies.
  • Ability to influence, analyze data, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
