At MRA, we deliver best-in-class HR Services to over 4,000 member companies across the US. The Compensation Director is a strategic advisor providing expert consulting on total rewards strategies and compensation programs, aligning HR objectives with business goals to attract, retain, and motivate talent.

We are hiring 2 Compensation Directors, open to part-time or full-time candidates. This role involves working directly with members on complex projects, developing training sessions, and contributing to process improvements.

Our hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring three days in-office or at other MRA locations, including member sites.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Compensation Strategy & Advising: Provide guidance on compensation programs, salary structures, market pricing, and benchmarking. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop tailored solutions.
  2. Project Management & Execution: Lead compensation projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality of analyses, reports, and presentations.
  3. Member Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with members, acting as a trusted advisor on compensation matters.
  4. Analytical & Data-Driven Decision Making: Interpret complex data, identify trends, and provide strategic insights.
  5. Deliverables Management: Oversee the creation of analyses, reports, and training materials, ensuring high standards.
  6. Training & Development: Develop and deliver training on compensation best practices and salary structures.
  7. Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvements in compensation processes and operations.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's Degree or relevant military experience plus 8+ years of HR, leadership, or compensation experience (10+ preferred).
  2. Certifications such as CCP or S/PHR are preferred.
  3. Experience in compensation program development, management, and leading teams.
  4. Strong project management, analytical, and relationship skills.
  5. Proficiency with compensation analysis tools and systems preferred.
  6. Experience in delivering training and process improvements.
  7. Understanding of market pricing, benchmarking, surveys, and salary structures.
  8. Experience across industries like manufacturing, sales, public sector, non-profit, or education, and familiarity with Salesforce or CRM systems preferred.
