Position Overview – General Manager

AllPhase Roofing and Restoration is seeking an experienced and growth-oriented General Manager to provide leadership and strategic direction to a multi-site team in Columbus and Cleveland. The ideal candidate will have management experience in the home service industry, including full P&L responsibility, and a high sense of urgency. As the brand leader, the General Manager will oversee core operations and help scale the business for future growth.

The General Manager will be responsible for business development, estimating, sales, project management, and production. Success will be measured by lead generation, sales closing, revenue per job, quality, customer service, productivity, and overall profitability. The role includes developing and growing sales, marketing, administrative, and production teams, and ensuring operational excellence in service delivery.

Core Responsibilities

  1. Manage all facets of the organization, including full P&L responsibility.
  2. Train, develop, and manage performance of sales, marketing, administrative, and production staff.
  3. Recruit and staff employees and subcontractors, projecting future needs.
  4. Ensure compliance with regulatory processes and manage employee relations.
  5. Drive operational efficiencies and labor productivity.
  6. Establish and maintain high customer service standards.
  7. Collaborate and report to the Executive Leadership Team.
  8. Work with Water and Reconstruction Divisions to improve processes and close rates.
  9. Foster a positive work environment and effective communication across all levels.
  10. Maintain active relationships with clients and referral sources, including monthly business reviews.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of management experience, preferably multi-site management.
  2. Experience with change management methodologies.
  3. Experience in Disaster Mitigation and Restoration industry is a plus.
  4. Home service or construction management experience is highly preferred.
  5. Proven ability to mentor and develop teams in sales, marketing, and operations.
  6. High integrity, business maturity, and excellent customer service skills.
  7. Experience managing multi-million dollar budgets and growing accounts.
  8. High energy and leadership ability.
  9. Strong negotiation skills and cross-functional organizational experience.
  10. Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a focus on client service.
  11. Willingness to travel up to 40%, primarily between Columbus and Cleveland.
  12. Understanding of business and KPI reports.
  13. Ability to identify performance improvements; Lean/Six Sigma is a plus.
  14. Clear criminal background and drug test.
  15. Valid driver's license.
