General Manager - Midwest

The General Manager will oversee all aspects of a location's day-to-day operations, financial performance, and team development. This individual will drive growth, optimize performance metrics, build a strong culture, and lead the professional development of staff and management. With full P&L ownership, this role combines strategic, financial, and operational leadership to create a world-class operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive key performance metrics, including revenue, sales conversions, average invoice, employee retention, customer satisfaction, and maintenance subscription plans
  • Deliver a “gold standard” of service and quality through effective training, accountability, and data-driven decision-making
  • Cultivate a culture of purpose and collaboration, fostering employee engagement and retention at all levels
  • Lead efforts to expand employment opportunities, impacting through career growth and skill development
  • Manage all financial activities, including budgeting and forecasting, with accountability for achieving performance goals and optimizing P&L

Ideal Candidates Will Possess

  • A minimum of 3+ years managing teams
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience directly owning and managing a P&L preferred, with a playbook-driven approach to leadership and hiring
  • Strong interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills, with the ability to inspire followership
  • Energetic and optimistic attitude, adaptability to change, and proven success in achieving results
  • Critical thinking and risk analysis skills to develop creative, actionable solutions
  • A deep respect for the Skilled Trades or similar industries
