Coordinates and directs daily operations in assigned areas. Under supervision of the Nutrition Services Assistant/Associate Director, responsible for executing services that are timely, meet quality standards, and are coordinated with other areas such as BistrOH! Cafes, Hospitality Centers, and East Kitchen. Supervises, coordinates, and participates in activities of nutrition aides, sales assistants, and kitchen personnel engaged in the assigned area. Initiates partnerships with other departments, leads and trains service staff in patient care and retail cafes, enforces quality standards, requisitions food and related products, manages sanitation plans where appropriate, and assists with policy and procedure development and management. Acts as a frontline supervisor supporting operations, playing a critical role in managing and redistributing labor each shift for maximum efficiency. Integrates functions within areas and across the department.
