ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion
• Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs
• Be knowledgeable about the product
• Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems
• Answer questions about the products
• Negotiate prices and terms
• Collaborate with colleagues in different sectors
• Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships
• Review customers' credit status and collect monies owed
• Complete administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 1-2 years of industry-related sales experience within the distribution or supplier community
• Must provide own transportation, valid driver's license, and current insurance
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms
• Must possess strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills and social perceptiveness
• Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and electronic mail
• Goal-oriented, focused, and possess the ability to excel with minimal supervision
• Self-motivated to maintain a competitive advantage in the marketplace
