Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Plant Manager to oversee all daily operations of our Columbus, Ohio manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production, maintenance, quality, safety, and workforce performance to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products. This role requires a hands-on leader with a proven track record in manufacturing management and continuous improvement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all plant operations including production, maintenance, shipping, and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA standards, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Manage and develop plant staff through effective leadership, training, and performance management.
  • Partner with corporate teams to align production output with company goals and customer expectations.
  • Control costs and budgets while maintaining product quality and safety standards.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in plant, operations, or production management, preferably in a manufacturing or construction materials environment.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing practices, quality control systems, and safety regulations.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office;



Work Environment:

  • Industrial manufacturing setting; exposure to noise, dust, and moving equipment.
  • Must be able to walk, stand, and climb for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in outdoor and indoor environments in varying weather conditions.
