The prospective engineer will serve as the AEP Engineering Lead for assigned projects and will be responsible for managing all aspects of engineering activities and coordination with other AEP Engineering Sections to ensure proper engineering oversight. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Coordinate the overall engineering activities among AEP, Developer, Architect Engineer (A/ E), and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) for Generation capital projects. Provide regular engineering progress updates to the project team and stakeholders. Experience overseeing multi-discipline engineering work is preferred. Occasional Travel to AEP generation facilities with some overnight travel will be required. - - All employees will be returning to office full-time effective 6/1/25.
