Antea USA, Inc. (AnteaGroup) is looking for ambitious, detail-oriented Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Professional in one of the following locations Austin, TX; Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Columbus, OH, Cherry Hill, NJ; Denver, CO; Seattle, WA; Pittsburgh, PA; Portland, OR; or White Plains, NY.

This position will support clients with the management and implementation of their EHS programs. We desire an experienced candidate with demonstrated skillsets in areas such as Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Electrical Safety, ISO management systems, Written Program Development, Training, Auditing, and Industrial Hygiene. Candidates with industry experience in the following industries are desired: Technology, Data Center, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Oil & Gas, Bio-tech, Retail and/or Manufacturing.

Where will I work?

The successful candidate must be based near one of the listed cities. This role will have the flexibility to work remotely based on project needs. In this hybrid work environment, it is expected that this position report to the office as needed for in-person meetings and collaboration with other team members. Local, regional, and/or overnight travel as required for emergency response or large project kick-offs. Up to 25% travel anticipated.

Typical job assignments may include but are not limited to:

  • Lead EHS projects related to LOTO program development, implementation, audits, and employee training.
  • Manage electrical safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with NFPA 70E, OSHA 1910 Subpart S, and other relevant standards.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS management systems, including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and corporate sustainability programs for a wide variety of industries; including Technology, Data Center, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Oil & Gas, Bio-tech, Retail, and/or Manufacturing.
  • Prepare and review corporate and site-specific written programs, JHAs, PPE assessments, and other EHS program elements.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and reviews of EHS programs, with a focus on continuous improvement and compliance assurance.
  • Lead and manage incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action implementation.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for LOTO and Electrical Safety procedures, providing guidance and mentoring to site teams.
  • Prepare proposals, project cost estimates and technical marketing materials.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of EHS project management experience working in industry or consulting with Technology, Data Center, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Oil & Gas, Bio-tech, Retail, and/or Manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated experience in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Electrical Safety (NFPA 70E), including arc flash hazard management.
  • Experience developing and implementing EHS management systems such as OSHA VPP, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 is desired.
  • Must have a deep understanding of OSHA regulations and their applicability. Further understanding of NFPA, DOT, EPA, and/or international EHS regulations is a plus.
  • Data Center EHS experience is a plus.
  • Experience with developing training modules is a plus.
  • Experience with management of lithium-ion and lead-acid battery system hazards is a plus.
  • Proven experience leveraging AI to improve EHS processes is a plus.
  • Able to work independently with attention to detail and manage multiple clients and projects.
  • Must have a strong desire to talk with, influence, lead a team, and directly interface with multiple clients and stakeholders. Additionally, must be able to take direction and coaching from both clients and team members.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • Potential employees must be able to satisfactorily complete a background check, pre-employment drug screening (as permitted by law), and baseline physical (safety sensitive roles). They must also have a valid driver's license and good driving record.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment - Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities, which may include the following:

  • Sedentary to light work (typical office or administrative work).
  • Frequently required to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of low (under 25lbs) to moderate (25-49lbs) weight objects.
  • Repetitive motions: substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers (including reaching).
  • Subject to inside environmental conditions (protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change).
  • Operation of a motor vehicle.

Additionally, if you are completing client meetings or client project site visits you will need to complete a medical surveillance/fitness-for-duty examination and maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include the following:

  • Medium to heavy work.
  • Subject to outside environmental conditions: heat/cold, wind, wet and/or humid, etc.
  • Occasional stooping (bending body downward and forward), kneeling (bending legs at the knee), crouching (bending body downward and forward), and climbing.
  • Frequent lifting (including push/pull, hold/carry) of light, moderate, and possibly heavy-weight objects.
  • Subject to hazards, including a variety of physical conditions, including but not limited to: proximity to moving vehicles, parts, or equipment; exposure to chemicals; pressure (including noise); electrical hazards; biological hazards; excavation/trenching; confined spaces; elevated work; materials handling.
  • May be required to wear an air-purifying respirator.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The annual salary range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000. Compensation will vary depending on the applicant's job-related knowledge and skills, education, and work experience.
