Nesco is looking for a General Laborer to work with a new company on the south side of Columbus. This is a direct hire position, you will receive all company benefits.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Shift : Monday -Friday 6:30am-2:30pm. Must be fine with overtime
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform physical labor tasks such as loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials
- Using a buffing sander, peeling top coat
- Clean and prepare work areas, including removing debris and setting up equipment
- Operate hand tools and basic equipment safely
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete daily work assignments
- Adhere to safety guidelines and report hazards or incidents immediately
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition
- Perform general housekeeping duties to keep the workspace clean and organized
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in general labor or construction
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand, bend, or kneel for extended periods
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- May involve exposure to loud noises, dust, and outdoor elements
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required
