Transformer Assembler

Pay: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Overtime available)
About the Role
Join a company that values your skills and hard work. We are looking for a dedicated Transformer Assembler to help build high-quality transformer units that power our communities. This hands-on role works closely with engineering and plant management, offering opportunities to grow and make an impact.
What You'll Do
Cut and prepare steel to exact measurements (+/- .002).
Assemble transformers and stack laminated steel cores.
Insert coils and complete assembly to specifications.
Safely operate equipment: transformer test tools, ratchet gun, strip cutting machines, air tools, band saw, belt sander, hoist, and shears.
Follow all safety and company policies.
Support the team with additional duties as needed.
Work overtime when required (great opportunity to boost earnings!).
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent.
4+ years of experience in a similar assembly or mechanical role.
Strong mechanical ability and attention to detail.
Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
Ability to read and interpret instructions, blueprints, and measurement tools (rules, calipers, micrometers).
Team-oriented with good communication skills.
Safety-conscious and eager to learn.

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
