The Operations Support Specialist will be part of the Retirement Services Team within the Client.This team is responsible for providing exceptional service to financial advisors and branch employees regarding retirement accounts and related services.

You will serve as a point of contact for inquiries involving IRA and retirement accounts, including contributions, distributions, tax regulations, and procedural guidance. Success in this role involves building strong relationships, applying financial knowledge, and efficiently routing or resolving inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support via phone to financial advisors and branch employees regarding retirement account services.
  • Research and respond to questions about retirement products, account contributions, distributions, and tax-related inquiries.
  • Use internal systems and tools to resolve issues or escalate requests to appropriate processing teams.
  • Ensure all requests and interactions are accurately documented and processed according to established procedures.
  • Meet or exceed service level targets set by MSSN management.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of retirement policies, procedures, and compliance guidelines.


  • Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 2 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to handle complex requests accurately.
  • Strong multitasking and time management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate difficult or sensitive conversations professionally.
  • Quick learner with the ability to apply knowledge across various systems and scenarios.
  • A collaborative mindset with a customer-first attitude.



  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with retirement accounts or retirement financial products is a plus.
  • Current or past FINRA Series 7 license is preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred if not already held.
