NYAP is actively searching for a Community Based Therapist to provide services to youth ages 5-21 and their families that are experiencing problematic behavioral. These clients are involved with our PASS/Healthy Ways PSB ( (Practicing Alternative and Safe Solutions) program. In this position, you will be the first line intervention, diversion, and/or after-care service for youth experiencing problematic sexual behavior. Our PASS-PSB/Healthy Ways team continues to see fantastic success rates with this program, come join a thriving team!

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family counseling in the schools, communities and homes daily and/or weekly.

• Conduct Standardized Risk Assessments and Diagnostic Assessments using JSOAP and PROFESOR .

• Assist in implementing goals and objectives of the treatment plans.

• Meet weekly with the treatment team(s).

• Attend professional/development trainings and team meetings; obtain CSAY-C certification.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.

  • Active and valid LSW or LPC licensure required.

  • Experience in providing both individual and family therapy, preferred.

Driving and Vehicle Requirements

  • Valid driver's license

  • Reliable personal transportation

  • Good driving record

  • Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability
