Pure Storage is seeking a Consulting Field Solutions Architect - AI/Analytics - SLED. The Analytics & AI FSAs are highly motivated technical sales resources whose goal is to provide guidance, enablement, and support for Analytics & AI opportunities across a sales region. You will understand clients' business, position the value of Pure solutions, and be an authority on how Pure integrates in high performance data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Create field-facing solutions content (technical walkthroughs, deep dives, demos, qualification guides, etc.) for Analytics & AI


• Mainstream solution area and other enablement projects to prepare the field for Analytics & AI opportunities


• Deliver webinars and events, including internal and external content with Alliance Partners, Channel Partners, Vendors, etc.


• Participate in customer calls, demos, POCs, EBCs, internal sizing sessions, and other solution-focused activities


• Stay current on internal products (FlashArray, FlashBlade, Portworx) and updated solution briefs; formalize enablement plans


• Influence the Solutions Roadmap through daily collaboration with Solutions Architects and Product Management


• Provide daily enablement and support that influences customer opportunities


• Participate in field testing to document insights and bridge gaps between not-yet-solved scenarios and formal Solutions testing


• Provide post-sales assistance with expert-level knowledge on solutions


• Partner with Sales Leaders for two-way feedback and alignment


• Inspire and motivate the field to reach higher levels of success and attract customers to Pure Storage


• Engage cross-functionally with GTM and corporate teams to align initiatives

What You'll Need To Bring To This Role

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience


• 8+ years of pre-sales experience in IT


• Experience covering SLED accounts strongly preferred


• Strong technical acumen in Analytics & AI with a forward-looking industry vision


• Strong understanding of infrastructure (servers, networking, storage) underpinning high-performance environments


• Proven track record as an industry-respected technical evangelist with deep expertise


• Exceptional sales experience with Analytics & AI product solution knowledge and familiarity with Pure Storage competitive landscape


• Ability to articulate customer strategy and Pure Storage solution strategy at a technical level


• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to teach account teams and partners


• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills


• Proficiency with G Suite, CRM and opportunity management systems (Salesforce preferred)


• Strong problem-solving skills and experience with complex engineering designs


• Knowledge of Analytics & AI landscape and related tools (e.g., Splunk, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Spark, Snowflake, Vertica, TensorFlow, PyTorch; often used with Nvidia products and cloud providers)


• Ability to travel within the assigned territory and other locations in the US (approximately 50-60%)


• Strong work ethic and follow-through


• Publications or social media presence is a plus

The Annual Base Salary Range Is: $168,000—$299,000 USD.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For roles open to multiple locations, the base salary reflects labor market.

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
