Overview: Join William Charles Electric, a leading name in medium and high voltage electrical construction projects, as an Electrical Estimator Specialist. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with a dedicated team to conduct essential due diligence, accurately estimating costs associated with electrical construction projects. You will also manage the client bid submittal process.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare precise quantity surveys and estimates for assigned projects.
• Conduct pre-construction surveys and draft preliminary documents.
• Handle the majority of quantity surveys and pricing estimates efficiently.
• Develop and manage project schedules and review contract specifications accurately.
• Conduct plan reviews and perform detailed takeoffs to ensure competitive bids.
• Maintain communication with engineering consultants and designers for digital coordination.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and summarize estimates for clarity.
• Participate in occasional project site visits and pre-bid meetings.
• Assist with additional estimating duties as required.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred; experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Prior experience in the construction industry is advantageous.
• At least 2 years of experience is preferred.
