About the Role
The Company is looking for an experienced Director of Human Resources for its Hospitality division. This pivotal role involves acting as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing expert guidance on various HR matters to enhance organizational effectiveness and performance.
Key responsibilities will include overseeing staffing and retention strategies, driving organizational development, managing talent, fostering strong employee relations, and building partnerships across teams. The Director will also play an essential role in establishing ongoing labor relations strategies, ensuring compliance with legal obligations, and proactively addressing labor and employee relations challenges.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) along with a minimum of 7 years of HR experience in a high-volume environment. Background in a unionized setting will be advantageous. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of leading and developing HR teams, outstanding communication and leadership skills, and the ability to earn influence and credibility at all organizational levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, along with a high level of energy, acute attention to detail, and willingness to work flexible hours. The Director will champion employee advocacy, focusing on cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
