Maximus is searching for a Sr. Manager - PMO to support our BPS program.

This is a fully remote position.

Equipment will be provided but must meet the remote position requirement provided below

Remote Position Requirements:

- Hardwired internet (ethernet) connection

- Internet download speed of 25mbps and 5mbps (10 preferred) upload or higher required (you can test this by going to www.speedtest.net)

- Private work area and adequate power source

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Position oversees the management of day-to-day communications with the client and ensures deliverables and key performance requirements are reported to the client timely and accurately.

- Monitor contract requirements to ensure company and client contractual requirements are accomplished.

- Supervise the PMO and Contracts teams, including monitoring formal communication with the client and ensuring all requirements are met.

- Oversee the reporting of all incidents and outages to the client.

- Review and approve all requested plans and deliverables.

- Coordinate submission of contractually required reports and deliverables.

- Work closely with staff throughout the project to ensure adherence to key performance requirements and contract deliverables.

- Perform contract administration including RFP analysis, proposal preparation support and development of terms and conditions within contract guidelines.

- Prepare subcontract RFQs and drafts/negotiates subcontracts.

- Work closely and interact effectively with corporate contracts personnel and outside counsel.

- Exercise supervision of all associated costs, methods, and staffing.

- Work on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.

- Implement strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

- Establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.

- Deep understanding of project management methodologies

- Proficiency in project management and portfolio management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, MS Loop)

- Implement consistent project management processes, templates, and tools across teams.

- Champion continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the PMO and across departments.

- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, legal, and regulatory requirements.

- Strong strategic thinking, organizational planning, and prioritization skills.

- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of programs and projects within the portfolio.

- Prioritize initiatives and allocate resources effectively to maximize value delivery.

- Identify and mitigate portfolio-level risks, dependencies, and issues

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 7-10 years of relevant professional experience required.

- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of education

- Proven experience leading a PMO or large-scale portfolio in a complex organization.

- PMP, PgMP, or PMO-specific certification strongly preferred

- 5+ years of federal contracting experience required

Pay Transparency

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
