Location: King Edward VII Memorial Hospital General

Key responsibilities include:

• Responsible for stripping, sealing and waxing floors during slow periods.
• High dusting all patient's rooms and sections.
• Carries out the cleaning of windows, buffing floors, and terminal cleaning.
• Spot cleans walls, cleans wheelchairs, hoists, scales and IV poles.
• Responsible for the general cleaning of rooms and sections.
• Empties trash & replaces liners.
• Polishes furniture & fixtures.
• Clean bathrooms and replenishes various dispensers and paper supplies.
• Dusts and damp mops all floors etc.
• Must be able to frequently walk, bend, kneel, crouch, stretch, push floor care equipment, lift and carry heavy objects.

Qualifications &/ Registration required:

• High school graduate preferred.
• Knowledge of related cleaning equipment would be advantageous.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Able to frequently move, lift & carry heavy objects.
• Able to frequently bend, kneel, crouch, stretch etc.
• Able to adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
• Able to provide good customer service.

Shift Schedule: Part Time - Weekends and Public Holidays.

Salary: BI04 - $32.6043 per hour
