In this hands-on HR Coordinator role, you'll play a vital role in supporting our client's esteemed HR department and plant leadership team. You'll be on the front lines of ensuring smooth operations, exceptional service to our client's employees, and fostering a positive and productive work environment for all.

Here's what you'll do:

• Provide a variety of administrative and clerical HR tasks, including maintaining employee files and distributing HR communications.
• Compile data from our HRIS system and generate reports to support informed decision-making.
• Screen calls, manage communication flow, and assist with scheduling and meeting coordination.
• Coordinate special events with external vendors to ensure successful execution.
• Assist employees with basic payroll and benefits questions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to perform various HR tasks.

To be successful, you'll need:

• A general understanding of HR functions and procedures.
• Basic knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
• Skilled in file maintenance, organization, and general office procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to understand and navigate company HR policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive HR information.
• Operate basic office equipment (fax machine, copier, phone, and computer).
• Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and vendors.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and external contacts.
