As a Montessori Teacher, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide an authentic Montessori experience by following each child as they grow and develop independence, confidence and a strong sense of community. Responsibilities include: Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 16 months - 6 years. Fostering an environment that will allow children to develop at their own pace. Work with individual and small groups of children. Create a rapport with the children and be responsive to their needs, guiding them through self-directed activities. Maintain open lines of communication with parents to answer questions. Responsible for the care and maintenance of the classroom, teaching materials and equipment.
