Safety Manager
Position Overview
The Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment within our construction projects. This role is crucial for complying with local regulations and maintaining the safety of all personnel involved in infrastructure development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with local regulations and company standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and risks on construction sites.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on safety practices and emergency procedures.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to promote a culture of safety on all job sites.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
- Bilingual English and Spanish
- Proven experience as a Safety Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards in construction.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to engage employees and management on safety matters.
