The Social Compliance Analyst is an individual contributor position supporting the BBW Social Compliance Programs. This position will require learned knowledge of U.S. and international forced labor, modern slavery, labor standards and workplace condition laws. Position reports directly to the Manager, Social Compliance.
Responsibilities:
Support manager in driving social compliance initiatives and policy management with cross-functional sourcing, customs compliance and legal partners, internal stakeholders, and vendors.
Assist with the development and administration of education and training materials of our policies and procedures.
With guidance from manager, this role will act as liaison with the 3rd party and BBW auditor.
This role will act as administrator of 3rd party (managed) database and be responsible for data entry and data integrity. The selected candidate will have the responsibility of accessing audit reports from the database and other relevant database information. Additionally, responsible for issuing and reviewing corrective action plans.
Elevate and communicate major compliance violations and incidents that fall under the 24-Hour Notification Policy to manager.
Assist with the administration of the Supplier Code of Conduct and Compliance Guidebook. Additionally, with the direction from manager, continuously update all labor standards and workplace condition policies and guidelines.
Develop and conduct training to suppliers, factories, and associates, as needed.
Develop reports/dashboards to support regular leadership communication and risk assessments.
Support on-site audits, as needed
Assist with ensuring compliance with company collaborations to ensure contractual obligations are met.
Develop database training for new year's, support refresher training and provide training on new development and releases.
Qualifications
1-3 years relevant experience in social responsibility, vendor compliance, auditing, or related fields
High attention to detail coupled with analytical skills with previous experience in project management, data analysis, and reporting
Strong PC skills: Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Proficiency in carrying out tasks thoroughly, calmly, accurately, and promptly while juggling various, conflicting priorities in a fast-paced setting
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with several cross-functional partners in being a valuable collaborator across teams
Self-motivated, self-starting and a creative thinker
Conducts all work in an ethical, honest, professional and confidential manner
Ability to travel domestically when needed
