NX Automotive Logistics USA, Inc. (NXAL) Operations Departments operate in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Associates are subject to dust, dirt, odors from packaging materials, propane-powered forklifts, and noise from production equipment. Temperatures vary throughout the year. Employees frequently operate computers, read, write, and interact with others in person, over the phone, and via other devices. They move within the facility and may travel to other locations.

Roles/Responsibilities/Functions:

• Make quarterly sales tax payments to the State of Ohio.
• Record payroll entries into the General Ledger.
• Review and reconcile fixed assets between the fixed asset system and the general ledger.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for Nippon.
• Review accounts payable batches to ensure invoices are accurately recorded in the correct general ledger accounts.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and notes for management.
• Prepare labor schedules reflecting actual expenses against budgets and forecasts.
• Coordinate with external auditors during year-end audits, providing requested information and finalizing income statements.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and review weekly cash flow reports.
• Work with CPA firms to file annual tax returns.
• Prepare monthly allocations and journal entries.
• Prepare invoice details for clients such as United Way, Teladoc, Unum, EyeMed, AFLAC, Berkshire Life Insurance, and others as assigned.
• Prepare monthly accounts payable accruals.
• Prepare annual 1099 forms.
• Maintain a professional environment for both external and internal customers.
• Perform other functions as required to meet company and customer needs.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of previous accounting experience.
• Four-year degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Strong logical and reasoning skills to evaluate solutions and approaches.
• Ability to understand behaviors, persuade, negotiate, and reconcile differences.
