SUMMARY

The Coordinator, Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) will oversee development operations including event planning and logistics, partnership fulfillment, and CRM administration. This individual will be the primary administrator of The Raiser's Edge NXT, TeamRaiser, and other software solutions supporting fund-raising efforts of Special Olympics Ohio. This position will partner with volunteer planning committees, maintain relationships with key partners and vendors, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful event execution and fundraising outcomes.


The position works directly within the Development Department and has a wide range of responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:

Essential Job Functions

  • Plan, manage, and execute logistics for LETR fundraising events statewide, including venue coordination, permits, registration, marketing, partnership activation, volunteer management, and event flow.
  • Lead and support volunteer planning committees for each LETR event.
  • Coordinate with LETR partners and vendors, maintain strong relationships and ensure effective collaboration.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to create and manage content for LETR social media platforms.
  • Serve as the lead contact for Team Raiser registration pages, ensuring accurate configuration and maintenance.
  • Assist with CRM database management, including daily gift entry, donor stewardship tracking, and data integrity.
  • Support the development and implementation of partnership and stewardship strategies.
  • Represent Special Olympics Ohio at LETR and other statewide events to promote the mission and engage stakeholders.
  • Pursue professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in peer-to-peer fundraising and event management.
  • Support building a culture of philanthropy by attending Special Olympics Ohio activities and events across the state to further the understanding of athletes, volunteers, and donors in the Special Olympics Ohio community.


Preferred Qualifications, Experience & Skills

· Experience with fundraising CRM solutions, such as The Raiser's Edge, Classy, Tessitura, and ClickBid.

· Proficiency in MS Office 365 Suite.

· Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills.

· Understanding of donor stewardship and fundraising operations.

· Actively displays the qualities of being Action Oriented and Customer Focused.

· Demonstrated proficiency in skills such as Decision Quality and Managing Vision & Mission Purpose.


Required Education & Experience

· Bachelor's degree or higher.

· 1 – 3 years of event management, fundraising, or nonprofit operations, and data entry experience.


Miscellaneous Information

  1. This position is full-time, exempt
  2. Days and hours of work are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  3. Evening/weekend work may be required as job duties demand


Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000/year
