Under the general direction of the Manager, Building Systems – HVAC, the Building Automation Analyst ensures effective, safe, and efficient operation of mechanical systems, building controls, and utilities across over 6 million square feet of healthcare space. Responsibilities include daily management of HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems; operational oversight of building automation systems (BAS); assessment, resolution, and programming of HVAC‑related controls issues; equipment commissioning; developing and monitoring energy‑saving processes; managing capital funds; monitoring utility budgets; providing direction to the operational team; consulting on major initiatives integrating BAS; analyzing, testing, and implementing complex BAS solutions; offering insight and guidance to leaders and peers; and responding to emergency situations.
Knowledge of growth and development and understanding of the range of treatments necessary to meet the age‑specific needs of the patient population served.
