DNV Energy Systems North America is seeking a growth‑minded, entrepreneurial Principal Consultant (Director) of Data Center Consulting to join our growing team. This leadership position is empowered to support our customers engaged in planning, developing and powering data centers. DNV serves as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across the energy spectrum, including planning energy‑related investments, engineering and consulting services to support the development of new renewable energy resources and power grid interconnection of both generation assets and large load, such as Data Centers.
The ideal candidate for this position is responsible for growing a cross‑disciplinary new business in a highly matrixed organization. They will lead DNV teams to activate a go‑to‑market plan that delivers a broad set of capabilities and solutions to plan, evaluate and power data centers. The Director will have the opportunity to develop a fast‑growing, high‑potential business.
This role is based at our DNV office in Seattle, WA, Oakland, CA, San Diego, CA, Austin, TX, Houston, TX, Medford, MA, Arlington, VA, Columbus, OH, New York, NY, and Oak Brook, IL, presenting a dynamic hybrid schedule where employees will typically spend three (3) days per week working from either a DNV office or client location/site. For California, Washington, New York, Washington, D.C., Illinois, and Maryland: DNV provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. The actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. For the states of California, Washington, New York, Washington, D.C., Illinois, and Maryland only, the starting pay range for this role is $200,000 - $250,000.
