The Quality Assurance Specialist ensures food safety, quality, and adherence to regulatory compliance across our restaurants and plays a vital role in supporting global food safety and quality initiatives (including pest control, food safety audits, and distribution compliance). This role involves collaborating with various teams to validate product and process safety, ensuring both new and existing procedures meet our high standards. Additionally, you'll analyze data to support our Restaurant QA Team and prepare food safety reports for stakeholders.

This position requires you to work 4 days onsite and allows for 1 day remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage quality assurance programs related to pest control, monitoring food safety audits, health department compliance, and training. Create and distribute detailed food safety reports.
• Assist in product and process testing, validating safety compliance, and meeting health department requirements.
• Collaborate with Wendy's internal teams to mitigate compliance and food safety risks.
• Support educational workshops and QA training for assigned restaurants.

What We Look For:

• Education: Associate's Degree in Food Science, Meat Science, Nutrition, Microbiology, or equivalent experience in the food industry.
• 2+ years of experience in food safety or quality assurance.
• Basic understanding of food safety protocols and microbiology.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with data analysis and basic statistical methods.
• Self-motivated with a mindset geared towards continuous improvement.

The base pay range for this position is outlined below. The actual salary offered will reflect internal equity and the budget for this role, and may vary based on the candidate's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. This range does not include potential bonuses or benefits related to the position. * Target annual bonus for this role is set at 10% of the annualized base salary, contingent upon company and individual performance.
