Job Title: Carpenter Foreman Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Carpenter Foreman to lead our carpentry crew in the installation of a wide variety of commercial construction elements. This individual will coordinate daily tasks, manage a team of carpenters, and ensure high-quality workmanship on schedule. The ideal candidate has proven leadership experience in commercial carpentry, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to the unique challenges of the job site.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all carpenter crew activities on commercial projects.
Install and oversee installation of interior and exterior rough blocking, hollow metal door frames, hollow metal doors, wood doors, commercial door hardware, custom cabinets, and countertops.
Act as the 'go-to' trade for specialized tasks not typically performed by others.
Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications to plan and delegate work.
Ensure quality control, accuracy, and compliance with project specifications.
Maintain a safe work environment and enforce company/site safety protocols.
Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades.
Train, mentor, and evaluate team members.
Track materials, tools, and labor to support project budgets and schedules.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of commercial carpentry experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/lead role.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Experience with installation of commercial doors, hardware, cabinets, and architectural finishes.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to lead a team and coordinate multiple tasks efficiently.
OSHA 10/30 certification (preferred).
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
