Forklift Driver (1st Shift)

Position Summary: A Forklift Operator is an individual who moves stock around the Fabrication Shop using a forklift or other types of loading devices. Their main duties include operating forklifts, winches, and other devices, loading and unloading equipment, pipe and storing or relocating materials within the warehouse.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Load, unload, pack, and unpack materials and pipe of all types and sizes.
• Label and sort incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Relocate items within the warehouse.
• Operate a forklift, winch, or other machinery used for transporting or shipping materials.
• Track inventory of incoming and outgoing items.
• Carefully handle and dispose of hazardous waste materials whenever necessary.
• Operating Raymond Reach, Dock Stocker and Cherry Picker
• Using Rf Scanner to pick orders.
• Replenishing inventory.
• General cleaning duties.
• Must be versatile to work in other departments.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Warehouse experience (preferred)
• Must have 1+ years of experience on all forklifts.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be capable of lifting up to 70 lbs.
• Capable of climbing ladders and on/off equipment, etc.

Special Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License
• Rigging certification (preferred)
