Forklift Operator

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay: $17-19/HR Based on experience and department

Shift: 7:00AM - 3:30PM (Overtime as needed), Saturdays on occasion (7:0AM - 12:00PM)

Position Overview

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to handle inbound and outbound warehouse movements. This role involves accurately picking customer orders, maintaining inventory flow, and supporting overall warehouse operations.

Position Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift with care to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Accurately pick, stage, and move customer orders.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse duties using handheld scanners.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE (steel-toed boots, etc.).
• Complete assigned tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.

Position Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience.
• Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Must wear steel-toed boots and comply with all safety requirements.
• Strong integrity, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Class A CDL is a plus, but not required.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
