Quality Assurance Manager

Description:

The QA Manager implements and manages that all operations meet the highest quality standards and recommends adjustments to the production line; inspects materials and products being produced to ensure that all products meet requirements and recommends training where needed.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Make sure production meets customer approval sample criteria
  • Making sure that employees are following procedures and standards.
  • Ensure that packaging meets customer criteria as per account manager.
  • Provide quality inspection in every step of production and oversee the auditors that are doing the inspections.
  • Provide final inspection before finalizing orders and shipping to customers.
  • Ensure services exceed customer expectations
  • Double check packaging and labeling for product being shipped.
  • Stay on top of staff and make sure that proper production processes are being completed and provide training where needed.

Skills/abilities

  • Previous experience leading quality in a manufacturing/production environment.
  • Experience in the apparel industry strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of Print processes and standards preferred
  • Excellent Organizational skills including time management and multitasking.
  • Attention to detail and eye for misprints, damages, and color variation.
  • Quick Decision Making ability to react and resolve issues on the spot.
  • Ability to collaborate with Production leadership and employees to resolve quality issues.
