Forklift Operator/ Reach Truck Operator

As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory management. Your responsibilities will include operating warehouse equipment, order picking, load/unload, and other various warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Verify orders against receipt/shipping paperwork.
• Operate forklifts following company safety procedures.
• Scan orders with handheld electronic devices.
• Package parts following material handling guidelines.
• Adhere to 5S requirements within personal work area and area of responsibility.
• Follow all safety guidance and principles.

Essential Skills:

• Stand Up Forklift operation
• Reach truck operation
• Good interpersonal skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of warehouse experience preferred
• Use of RF (bar-code scan) devices

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Assertive communicator with the ability to delegate orders
• Problem-solving skills for order status issues
• Leadership experience is a plus
• Ability to multitask under time constraints and fast-paced situations

Work Environment:

The position offers flexible scheduling with four different shifts available, including AM/PM options. Shifts include Sunday to Tuesday and Wednesday to Saturday from 6 AM to 6 PM. The role involves shipping and receiving tasks, picking, inventory management, and the use of pallet jacks. The work environment is fast-paced and requires adherence to safety protocols and efficiency standards.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Albany, OH.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
