Job Title

Transports and restocks inventory at offsite locations using company delivery vehicle.

Essential Functions:

• Drives delivery vehicles to transport materials and equipment from Materials Management to user departments at various offsite locations.
• Enters orders for needed inventory and prepares items for delivery.
• Maintains company delivery vehicle and storage areas of offsite locations.
• Assists with unloading and moving inventory to assigned areas.
• Maintains appropriate departmental documentation and daily driver log.
• Ensures that customer has the materials and equipment needed, assisting with any required returns and reporting problems and concerns to supervisor.

Education Requirement:

High School Diploma or equivalent, required.

Licensure Requirement:

Valid Ohio driver's license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy and position-specific requirements. Must pass motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children's Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.

Skills:

• Ability to safely operate a midsize delivery van.
• Ability to understand general written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate with customers in a clear and polite manner.
• Problem solving and time management.

Experience:

Delivery experience, preferred.
