CNC Programmer / CNC Router Operator

Pay Rate: $28-$34 per hour (depending on skill level & experience)
Location: Trevose, PA, 19053
Schedule: 7am-4pm

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Operator to support production on our two CNC routers. This role is essential to our operation, and we are looking to fill it quickly with someone who is skilled, reliable, and ready to contribute from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Program CNC machines for a wide range of part construction and geometric requirements
• Select appropriate cutting tools, tool paths, cutting speeds, and feed rates for each job
• Assist with training and mentoring CNC machine operators
• Evaluate and proof CNC programs by entering instructions, establishing zero and reference points, setting offsets and tool registers, and applying basic math, geometry, and trigonometry
• Process each job according to order specifications and customer requirements
• Verify part accuracy by following inspection processes and using proper measurement tools
• Maintain production quality by monitoring operations, troubleshooting issues, adjusting programs, and replacing or sharpening tools as needed
• Perform and document preventive maintenance according to manufacturer guidelines
• Communicate effectively between shifts to ensure continuity and accurate documentation of actions, irregularities, and work needs

• Prior experience programming and operating CNC routers (2+ years preferred)
• Strong understanding of CNC software, tooling, and machining processes
• Ability to read shop drawings, blueprints, and part specifications
• Proficiency with measurement tools such as tape measures, micrometers, and calipers
• Solid math skills, including geometry and trigonometry
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and organizational skills
• Ability to train and guide less experienced operators
• Commitment to quality, safety, and production efficiency
