Warehouse Associate

Location: Sunrise, Florida

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Select product accurately and damage free. Select product in an efficient manner while meeting appropriate productivity expectations and standards. Ensure product and or tote is properly labeled. Follow all distribution center standard operating procedures, (SOP). Operate a manual pallet jack. Ensure work area remains clean and safe, while following all safety practices. Maintain proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and safe lifting techniques. Perform other duties that do not involve any power equipment (MHE) within the distribution center. Assist with physical inventory and other inventory related items.

Qualifications

Ability to work weekends, holidays Able to work <10 hours within a single shift if needed. Must be eighteen years of age or older. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. Must be able to continuously stand or walk and be able lift /handle/carry product or equipment of moderate weight (<50 pounds).

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or equivalent certification preferred. 6+ months of warehouse or retail experience preferred.

Computer skills including Outlook, and basic functions such as using a printer, mouse, and keyboard. Use of a calculator and the ability to perform simple math Ability to operate scanner. Read, write, and identify and verify numbers.
