ACT 235 Certified Armed Security Officer

Location: Morgantown & Reading PA Area

Schedule: Monday-Friday / 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Do you hold a current ACT 235 certification and take pride in your professionalism? We're looking for a reliable and observant Armed Security Officer to join our Philadelphia-based team. This role offers a consistent schedule, a supportive environment, and the opportunity to protect and serve in a highly visible position.

What You'll Do:

• Patrol assigned interior/exterior areas by foot or vehicle
• Monitor surroundings and report suspicious activity
• Respond quickly to incidents in line with company policy and use-of-force guidelines
• Write detailed reports and maintain daily activity logs (DARs)
• Enforce site policies, post orders, and client rules
• Support customer service needs at front desks, loading docks, or other key locations
• Stay informed on site-specific emergency protocols

What You Need:

• Current ACT 235 certification
• Armed security experience
• Personal firearm, level 2+ holster, and duty belt
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 13 years of experience in security, law enforcement, military, or customer service preferred
• Strong written communication for report writing
• Reliable transportation to and from the site
• Ability to pass a background check

Bonus If You Have:

• Military background or relevant college education
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if required for the post)

Education Requirements (All)

HS Diploma GED or H.S. Equivalent

Certification Requirements (All)

Driver's License PA ACT 235 License License to Carry a Firearm Personal firearm ownership
