Job Details

US Department of Defense - - Responsibilities: Perform maintenance on deck equipment including anchor windless, drag winches, boat winches, hopper door latches, hopper jetting valves, dredge pump and direct pump out equipment and mooring equipment.; Use mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic hand tools and measuring devices to repair equipment.; Perform deck maintenance such as chipping, sanding, and painting; may require respirator.; Perform carpentry work for fabrication and installation of staging and supports; repair wooden interior fittings.; Operate controls for hoisting and lowering drag arms and monitor depth, vacuum, and flow gauges.
