The Domestic Service Worker (DSW) performs a variety of tasks in the preparation, cooking and serving of meals, snacks and special functions in an institutional setting. The DSW must receive deliveries and put away supplies in a safe and organized manner. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to cleaning and sanitizing of the food service areas, including the kitchen, dining room, storeroom, service hallway and the laundry room. The DSW is also responsible for the sorting, washing, drying and folding of Youth Center laundry items. The safety of the kitchen and laundry operations is important. The DSW must be available to work weekends and holidays. This position requires flexibility. Assist each department as needed. Contribute to a positive work environment.
