Job Title: DTS Systems Engineer II
Position Type: Contract (Remote)
Pay Range: $45–$50/hour (W2)
Location: Philadelphia, PA 19104 (Remote)
Shift: Standard Business Hours (On-call rotation required)
On-Call: Yes (Enterprise-wide rotation)
Equipment: AWS, Linux/Windows Systems, Docker, Jenkins, Apache/Nginx
Required Education & Certifications (Mandatory)
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience – REQUIRED
• Minimum 3–5 years of Systems Engineering / DevOps experience – REQUIRED
Required Skills & Experience (Mandatory)
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, APIs) – REQUIRED
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI) – REQUIRED
• Proficiency in Docker containers & container orchestration – REQUIRED
• Experience configuring Apache & Nginx web servers – REQUIRED
• Strong Linux system administration (Windows is a plus)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet)
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python)
• Experience with Git/Bitbucket/Stash
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Splunk, CloudWatch, New Relic, SCOM)
• Strong understanding of networking (load balancing, firewalls, certificates)
• Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Hands-on experience with Agile tools (Jira, ServiceNow, Redmine)
Preferred Skills & Experience
• AWS Certification
• Kubernetes / ECS experience
• Experience in large-scale enterprise or healthcare environments
• Experience with on-prem + cloud hybrid infrastructure

Job Description / Project
Join a high-impact engineering team responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments.
Key responsibilities include:
• Designing and deploying cloud infrastructure (AWS-based systems)
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
• Managing web servers, containers, and backend infrastructure
• Performing system performance tuning, capacity planning, and trend analysis
• Supporting data center operations (24x7 environment)
• Implementing infrastructure automation and DevOps best practices
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions
• Monitoring systems and ensuring high availability and reliability
Additional Requirements
• Participation in on-call rotation (24x7 support environment)
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to mentor junior engineers (Level I)
• Experience working in fast-paced, enterprise IT environments
