$17.85/ hour
Vacancies exist for Substitute Food Service workers within the Norristown Area School District. These positions will be on an as needed basis to support the Food Service department on last minute absences.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food service experience preferred
- Valid clearances - FBI Fingerprints, Child Abuse & PA Criminal Background Clearances
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Serve students according to meal counting and claiming procedures
- Learn and understand basic regulations and specifications of the National School Lunch program
- Perform routine tasks in food preparation as directed
- Learn basic food safety and sanitation procedures
