Job duties include preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Ability to interact with guests, co-workers, and supervisors in a positive and helpful manner, as well being able to work independently for extended periods of time.Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian order. Maintain professionalism while assessing guest's needs and preferences and offer recommendations if needed.* Maintain a clean and neat work and service area and restock bar inventory and supplies as needed.Minimum Qualifications:* High School diploma or equivalent required.* Basic knowledge of beverages and food items, and cleaning practices, RAMP certification required.* 1 year food service experience.* Oral and written communication skills.* Ability to work independently as well as in a group under general supervision.* Excellent guest service skills.* Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks.* Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.Preferred Qualifications: Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours:* Standing for extended periods of time.* Ability to lift a minimum of 30 poundsSpecial Message to Applicants: EEO StatementVillanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian order.
