Leasing Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Specialist to join the team. This individual will be responsible for driving occupancy by attracting, touring, and leasing to prospective residents while delivering an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

Location: Jenkintown, PA (100% onsite)

Salary: $27.00 per hour + commission

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct property tours for prospective residents, highlighting features and benefits of the community
  • Respond to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in-person in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage the full leasing cycle, including applications, screenings, lease preparation, and move-ins
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in property management and CRM systems
  • Track and follow up on leads to convert prospects into residents
  • Assist with marketing efforts, including online listings, social media, and outreach initiatives
  • Ensure model units and common areas are clean, organized, and presentation-ready
  • Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents
  • Support resident retention efforts by fostering positive relationships and addressing concerns
  • Collaborate with property management and maintenance teams to ensure a seamless resident experience

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in residential leasing experience required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sales-oriented mindset with a proven ability to meet or exceed goals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, or similar) is a plus
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Weekend availability may be required
