Virtua Health - 100 Bowman Drive - Responsibilities: Transport patients to and from departments/units; Ensure appropriate patient identification, patient comfort and safety (assisting in lifting, moving and positioning in bed/wheelchair); Care for and clean wheelchairs/stretchers and initiate repairs as necessary; Coordinate with other transporters based on patient schedules to ensure smooth transport operations; Communicate patient information to nurses and diagnostic departments as necessary
