Situated within the firm's broader, premier Real Estate department, the Zoning and Land Use team represents developers, investors, and institutional clients in navigating complex regulatory landscapes.

Core areas of focus include:

• Securing complex zoning and land use approvals
• Representing clients before local zoning boards, planning commissions, and municipal bodies
• Strategic advising on land use regulations in Philadelphia and the surrounding Pennsylvania counties
• Collaborating alongside the broader real estate group on major regional development projects

Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare zoning applications, appeals, and related land use documentation
• Prepare for and appear at municipal and administrative hearings
• Conduct complex due diligence regarding zoning and land use feasibility for prospective developments
• Work closely with partners, clients, architects, and urban planners to advance project objectives

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of dedicated zoning and land use experience
• Active bar license in Pennsylvania (required)
• Demonstrated experience handling zoning and land use matters specifically within Philadelphia and the surrounding PA counties
• Distinguished academic credentials
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
